HERE'S MY MINI UPDATE!

i just came back from a NTH' Magazine photoshoot! ~~~ヾ(＾∇＾)

Makeup was Mori girl isnpired, minimal and delicate, which i absoultely adored.

Done by the talented makeup artist Rei Tan!

Light eyelashes, no eyeliner whatsover, tinted lip colour and a hint of rosy blusher

on the apples of my cheeks ﾐ(o*･ω･)ﾉ

(don't know why as i'm typing "apples of my cheeks" i get remineded of this line

"Shawty had them apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur, with the fur~"

from the song "Low" lol)

makeup shown here:

loving the delicately placed tiny seperate stalks on my lower eyelashes!

gives that very anime innocent look

*stares at you with dreamy eyes*

*you start to vomit on your computer screen*

i learnt cute hairstyling ideas too, there were 3 hairstyles done by the talented

hair stylist Yuki Ito of Monso Hair Design Tokyo

LIGHT UP THE NIGHT

HELLO MY LOVELIES~
here's my scheduled post as promised!

this took a little more time than usual because
I'm having MAJOR issues with Blogger,
when I upload photos, when inserted,
all of them are automatically linked to some random website.
（)´д`(）
so I have to manually unlink each and everyone of the photos in this post.
also, I can't blog on Google Chrome because whenever I try to scroll down,
the browser hangs and I would not be able to save my post.

these are the two frustrations out of the many I face in blogging now...

PROBLEMS/ RANTS ASIDE!

EOS JEWEL/CANDY BLUE CONTACT LENS REVIEW!

but first, here's my (very) overdue post
(because I couldn't blog for the past few weeks
due to the Google Chrome problem) on
CHIC Magazine's Masquerade Party held at
Club Avatar on the 16th of July,
where I was one of the bloggers for the event!
o(・∇・o)(o・∇・)o ヤッタ!

the dress code was Black and Gold Masquerade
and I invited my dear Amberlene who in turn invited
our mutual friend Karin to the invites only event!

Here's what I wore/essentials for the party:

coated my nails with The Face Shop midnight blue polish

and finished off with a coat of pink sparkles (which my

dear Amberlene bought randomly lol. she's too sweet/dear a friend to lose)

Using Candy Doll Ramune Pink lipstick as a nude lip base

with bare lips

Verdict:

Comfort: 6/10

i know about almost every blogger out there raves highly

about Candy Doll's products, but I beg to differ. well,

for this product at least. Their Ramune Pink Lipstick

when applied, leaves a very dry and chapped feeling on the lips.

have tried putting lip balm before applying this lipstick to compensate

for the lack of moisturization level, but leaves

a whole other problem together- the lipstick will not stay put and runs

in a patchy motion on the lips- leaving behind quite an unsightly sight.

thus in my opinion, if you are looking for a nude lipstick,

skip this as it does nothing for your lips but dries it out instead.

for me, I use it as a base to cover up my natural lip colour,

and layer another lipstick ontop of it if I want my layered lipstick

to have a more prominent or bright colour (which is demonstrated next in my post)

Colour: 6/10

The nude colour does not go well with my fair skin,
instead it makes me look deathly pale and sick. guess
i'm not suited to have Gyaru lips or the Ramune Pink shade is
too pale for my skintone. The lipstick might go well with a clear/ shimmer gloss
paired with smokey eyeshadow to bring attention to the eyes,
but I have yet to try that makeup combination.
Will update you lovelies if it works out for me!

Overall: 6/10
will most probably not purchase this lipstick
in the future as I don't think I suit pale lips.

but for those who are trying out nude lips, you might
want to try this product as it is relatively easy on the pockets.

went to a vintage toy museum at Arab Street, entrance fee is only SGD$2~
if you want to make a trip down the museum and would like to know how
to go there, i'll be happy to help! its one of my favorite places in Singapore,
I had chanced upon it one fine day
while finding inspiration for my photography class, and I felt like a kid all over again.

Then I recently dyed my hair in a Copper Red shade at Artica Hair Studio~

am super pleased with the results, as I have been previous salons that insisted

I could not dye lighter colours due to my hair being dyed dark brown/ black before,

but this salon has no such restrictions and

went straight into my desired colour = worth the money

ﾜｰｲ♪ ﾍ(ﾟ∇^ﾍ)(ﾉ^∇ﾟ)ﾉﾍ(^∇ﾟﾍ)(ﾉﾟ∇^)ﾉﾜｰｲ♪

colour is very even, and during the hair dye process, they applied

Comfort: 8/10

These lenses when first worn, felt super comfortable, like i wasn't

wearing lenses at all which is a really awesome feeling, because my

previous contact lenses were pretty drying.

but as with my previous contact lenses,

the comfort decreases with each wear, thus with 2 weeks into wearing these lens,

it tends to get slightly dry after 4 hours. But nothing that eyedrops can't cure!

on the topic of eyedrops, i personally swear by Rohto's C Cube!

it never fails to deliver~ always feel super refreshed when i use it! (●⌒∇⌒●) わーい

Colour: 8/10

ULTRA LOVE THE COLOUR OF THE LENSES! had always wanted to try out blue lenses

and am super happy that I chose these particular design as the shade of blue is pretty vibrant. great for those who want a pop of colour in your eyes,

but if you are looking into a more natural look, stay away from these lenses

as combined with the huge outer enlargement ring of the lens, it looks quite fake.

I myself am super super super loving these lenses because I do not need to

have excessive eyemakeup and my eyes will already look very huge and dolly-like.

even though it is only 14.5mm. I do know of some girls who wears 16.0mm lenses.

yes, there is such a thing as 16.0mm lenses LOL. so yeah, compare and contrast.

for references, my EOS Flower Pink lens worn in

the first few photos in this post are 14.0mm.

Enlargement: 9/10

not the largest pair of lens i have owned,

the GEO Angel Grey ones are bigger than these by 0.5mm (those are 15.0mm),

BUT WHY IS IT THAT I FIND THESE LENSES

BIGGER THAN MY GEO ANGEL GREYS?

maybe it is because of the gradient clear pattern of these lenses

combined with the huge outer black enlargement ring =

INSTANT EYE BRA PUSH UP *CHING CHING DIAMONDS*!

okay i made that term out lol forgive me.

but seriously, for those who are looking for the perfect lens

for dolly eyes, try these~ comes in 5 other colours too!

I myself am going to purchase the EOS JEWEL/CANDY GREEN ones next!

maybe I can wear the green one in my right eye and the blue one in my left

and look like some mutant wannabe from x-men.

Overall:9/10~!
